No truck in America commands more attention than the 2024 Ford F-150. People know it before even seeing F-150 trim badging. Ford proudly points out that the F-150 is the result of 46 years of tireless innovation. The truck as we know it today was released in 1975, but it was decades in the making even before that. Ford did something no other company did. They believed in the truck as a class that America would embrace. The 2024 Ford F-150 isn't just for hard workers or people who love to off-road. It has a cabin that's perfect for families, too. This is America's truck, and it can be anything you need it to be. The F-150's trim levels are so well-known that truck lovers can name them off the top of their head. Even casual spectators have heard of trims like the King Ranch and Lariat. ORO Ford recommends everyone research these trim levels carefully before deciding on your truck. This is a progressive lineup that continuously grows and gets better.
If you love conventional pickups, the new Ford F-150 XL is as conventional as they come. It has scrappy, old-school styling with a few modern touches thrown in for convenience. Its 2.7L turbocharged V6 engine rated at 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque is anything but old school, though; this engine is current-gen all the way. The XL boasts 17-inch steel wheels, a convenient hitch setup, and Ford's tough truck bed. You'll find the XL is easy to work with and even easier to enjoy outdoor activities with. Tailgating and fishing trips are a lot more fun when you're heading out in this base model.
There's little information released yet about the STX. It's the mystery truck of our ORO Ford 2024 Ford F-150 trim levels. Ford's STX is a first for the trim lineup, so they're saving official specs for a little later. For now, what we know is that it's likely to have blackout style.
XLT trims get an upgrade to 17-inch aluminum wheels and add optional features like available 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Ford puts a lot of emphasis on what they call "digital experiences" in the F-150. They wanted more people to be able to experience the upgraded touchscreen and digital instrument panel. Ice blue accents and other great features like carpeting are added to this model's interior. It's also great on safety. Ford delivers advanced driver-assist features like blind-spot monitoring and warning, safe exit assist, and lane departure warnings to the XLT.
The Lariat is one of the 2024 Ford F-150 trim levels that has a history going way back. It's one of the design that made the F-150 such a popular truck over the last 46+ years. There are significant options for the Lariat, including the option to add a 5.0L V8 engine rated at 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. A turbocharged 3.5L V6 is also available and rates at 400 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The Lariat remains one of the most stylish F-150 trucks and add a generous helping of chrome to the exterior. If you want leather seating, the Lariat is the first model to have it standard. There are also convenience features added, such as remote tailgate release and remote start.
