The new model continues the 14th F-150 generation introduced for the 2021 model year but arrives with a significant mid-cycle refresh. Another notable update for the 2024 Ford F-150 is that the much-anticipated Pro Access Tailgate is optional with most trim levels. The base V6 engine has been retired as has the optional diesel engine. The turbocharged V6 that had been optional is now standard.
